Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Define IATA Areas and sub-Areas;

• Know the Shipper / Carrier Responsibilities;

• Prepare a shipment to be ready for carriage;

• Calculate the transportation charges for different kinds of cargo;

• Calculate the valuation charges of a shipment when necessary;

• Calculate the disbursement fees of a shipment when necessary;

• Assist shippers and/or cargo agents in preparing shipment properly.
